Two well matched teams it was always going to be a nail biter. Both teams fought hard to get the ball into their opponents half and when it was there, both teams struggled to clear the ball. The game was end to end and when Kettering settled down they managed to put the Aztec goal under good pressure, but were lacking in the finishing touch. Finally mid way through the first half the ball broke to Caitlin who took the shot only to miss kick, fortunately it wasn’t cleared properly and Caitlin got a second shot and made no mistake the second time, chances went begging at both ends but thanks to the courageous work of goalie Chloe K we kept our first clean sheet of season. Well done Chloe.
